Thomas embarked on his hairdressing journey in Indonesia 20 years ago, and from the moment he held his first pair of scissors, he knew he had found his talent. He continued to hone his craft, eventually qualifying in Melbourne, where he worked with several award-winning salons before opening Unik Hair Design in Point Cook 10 years ago.

Fast forward to today, and Thomas stands as the proud founder and salon director of Unik, boasting over 20 years of experience. With a dedicated and dynamic team by his side, Thomas relentlessly pursues excellence, paying immaculate attention to detail of his cutting. His commitment to perfection ensures that every client leaves the salon completely satisfied.

For Thomas, hairdressing is more than a profession—it’s about being surrounded by positive, supportive clients and a motivated Team eager to learn and grow.

Karla ( Senior Stylist )

Chitrada, aka Karla has over a decade of hairdressing experience, Karla’s passion for her craft shines as brightly as ever. From the bustling streets of Thailand to the vibrant salons of Australia, she has brought her kindness, calm demeanour, and positive energy every step of the way, inspiring both her team and her clients.

Karla’s expertise in colouring and cutting goes beyond just skill; it’s an art form that lets her creativity flourish. What truly fuels her love for hairdressing is the joy she sees in her clients’ faces as they leave her chair, beaming with confidence.

Courtney (Senior Stylist)

Nicolle has been a dedicated member of the Unik team for an impressive 9 years, during which she has demonstrated unwavering loyalty and a strong work ethic.
